The co-founder of Tezos speaks about Smart Rollups, the roadmap to one million TPS and what's next for Tezos.
11:15 - 11:30 CET
WORKSHOP
In 2022 the core Tezos development teams announced plans for a series of upgrades that would bring various new features called 'rollups', taking the blockchain's scalability to new levels. One of the stated goals was increasing Tezos' throughput to 1 million transactions per second (TPS). This session will explain why this is a game changer and demononstrate how it's done.
11:30 - 12:00 CET
WORKSHOP
Data availability solutions on layer 1 blockchains are essential for ensuring the accessibility and integrity of data stored on the blockchain. These solutions address the challenge of efficiently distributing and reaching a consensus for making those data available to all participants in the network. This session will talk about the latest developments and solutions to improve data availability on Tezos.
12:00 - 13:00 CET
Refuel + Network
13:00 - 13:40 CET
WORKSHOP
Developing your first Smart Rollup kernel can be an exciting endeavor as a blockchain engineer. Smart Rollups on Tezos are layer 2 scaling solutions that enable higher throughput and lower transaction costs by processing transactions off-chain while leveraging the security of Tezos. Tune-in to hear from Marigold and Trilitech developers on how to deploy your very own kernel.
13:40 - 14:00 CET
KEYNOTE
Building games with Tezos can bring numerous advantages to the gaming industry. In this keynote, you will discover how Ubisoft's Strategic Innovation Lab upgraded Hashcraft, its first blockchain prototype, using Tezos Smart Rollups to scale and achieve features that could not be implemented with regular smart contracts.
